General Rules of the Road:

In order to join Top Golden Retriever Sites, your website MUST have content that relates specifically to the Golden Retriever breed of dogs. Most categories of websites are welcome to apply, such as, breeders, kennels, personal-pages, rescues, therapy dog sites, hunting sites, clubs, show dog sites, search & rescue dogs, etc., as long as the primary focus is Golden Retrievers. All e-commerce (or store sites) that sell golden retriever or dog-related items, are invited to check-out our Classified Ad's page.
Please note that the owners of Top Golden Retriever Sites, reserve the right to reject, without reason, any site that it feels is not appropriate for our site. Puppy mill sites/stores need NOT apply for membership. All sites that are submitted for membership, must be done by the owner of the site. We will accept entries from webmasters who are doing work on behalf of the site owner (as long as the owner gives their permission).


TopList of Sites: Terms
During the sign-up process, you will be instructed to place a "vote for me" link somewhere on your site, that points to the "Top Golden Retriever Sites" Toplist. This is so your visitors can vote for your site and visit the other golden retriever sites that are on the toplist. The more your visitors click on your "vote for me" link, the higher your site will be ranked on the toplist. Placing this link on your site is NOT optional; if you do not place the link, your site will not appear on the top list. Please note that you must use the link information that is given to you during the sign-up process; do not make-up your own link. If you wish to include a banner (on the toplist) for your site, please limit the size of the banner to 200 by 150 pixels.The banner may be slightly larger, as long as it does not cause the toplist to expand passed one full screen size. The "Hits In" and "Hits Out" columns (on the TopList) will initialize to zero on a monthly basis; usually on the 1st of each month. This will give all sites on the list the opportunity to be on the top of the list, and it provides greater variety to our viewers. Any site on the TopList that artificially inflates the total "hits in" or "hits out" for their website, will be deleted from our TopList. This includes asking people to vote for your site for the sole purpose of increasing your ranking. Please play fair. Also, to retain your listing on the Toplist, your site must generate at least one "hit in" to the Toplist each month.


Webring of Sites: Terms
During the sign-up process, you will be instructed to place "ring navigation code" somewhere on your site, that points to all the other sites in the ring, and to the webring hub (or homepage). This is so visitors to your site can visit the other sites in the ring. Placing the "ring navigation code" on your site is NOT optional; if you do not place the link, your site will not remain a member of the webring.
