General Information (See FAQ, below) The Picture Post Gallery is a collection of categorized Golden Retriever pictures, from both visitors and site-owners, the world over. Posting your picture: Anyone that has a picture of their Golden Retriever on their hard-drive, may post it on this gallery. In other words, you do not necessarily need a website to post your picture; however, if you currently do not have a website on the internet for your dog, you will need to email us all of the information, including the picture. Note: If your pictures are currently on one of those "free" website hosting servers, you will first need to check with them regarding whether or not you have the ability to read "gif" and "jpg" files from outside of your website. If they say that you don't, you will need to email us all of the information, including the picture. Policies: We require that you be the owner of both the dog and the picture, before you post it on this gallery. Visitors to the gallery are advised that they may NOT copy or otherwise use any picture without first obtaining the owners written permission. Table-of-Questions I do not have a website. How do I delete my picture from the Gallery? Do I need to put a "link back" on my site for the Gallery? I do not have a website. How do I put pictures of my dogs in the Gallery? If you do not have a website, you will need to email us all of the information, as follows: 1.) The dog's picture as an email attachment. 2.) A description of the picture or desired caption. (please note: you are allowed up to 400 characters for a description. So write a story about your dog, if you wish. 3.) The dog's name. 4). Specify the category where you want to place the picture. 5.) Send to webmaster@topgoldenretrieversites.net We will send you a confirmation email when your picture is in the gallery. Please allow at least 24 hours for processing. How do I VIEW pictures in the Gallery? There are basically three types of screens associated with the Picture Post Gallery, as follows: Screen 1: Categories This screen displays all the picture category links that are currently defined. You must click on the desired category to access the picture summary (list of picture titles) for that category. Screen 2: Picture Summary This screen displays a summary of all the picture titles in each category. You must click on the desired picture title to display that picture. Screen 3: Pictures This is the screen that displays the actual picture that was posted by the owner of the picture. How do I ADD a picture to the Gallery? Please Note: Your picture must contain one or more Golden Retrievers, and NOT contain any advertising. Your banner is where you may advertise your website. Also, your picture may NOT be the same as your banner. The Picture Post Gallery is open to all Golden Retriever website owners. And it does not matter whether you are a member of Top Golden Retriever Sites or not. If you currently do NOT have a website, but you have pictures of your Golden on your hard-drive that you would like to post, please email us all of the information, including the picture. Otherwise, please follow these steps: 1). Click on the "Click Here to Post Your Picture" link, that appears towards the very top of the Categories screen. 2). The Post Your Pic screen will now appear. Please fill in all the fields, as requested. When finished, click on the "Post This Pic" button, located at the bottom of the screen. 3). Our site administrator will review your posting before it is released for viewing to the public. How do I DELETE my picture from the Gallery? All you need to do is send us an email that contains the ID number and URL of your picture. Note: The ID number is displayed on the screen that displays the actual picture. We will confirm back with you via email when your listing has been deleted. How do I modify (change) my picture? You can send us an email that outlines the changes that you would like to make. Please specify the ID number and URL of your picture. Note: The ID number is displayed on the screen that displays the actual picture. We will confirm back with you via email when your listing has been modified. Do I need to put a "link back" on my site for the Picture Post Gallery? NO. Contact Us Page.
