Her name was Angel, a Golden Shepherd Wolf mix. How fitting it was, for she was a true "Guardian Angel" for us all. Courage beyond description, she gave no quarter to any aggressive being, be it human , canine, or otherwsie. A true lover of children, she was most tolerant of all of their indescretions, and most accepting of all of us. For it was HER that chose us, appearing on my doorstep and refusing to leave. Always a loving temperment, always a stubborness to never quit, no matter how daunting the task. I learned much from her. She was 16 before she had a stroke and could not walk. I had to have her put down, the most difficult thing I have ever done. We will never forget her.
